Partners with Talent Acquisition, business leaders, universities, and community organizations to strengthen the internal talent pipeline.

Supports investment product sales through advanced retirement and wealth planning strategies. Requires expertise in annuities, mutual funds, estate planning, taxation, retirement plans, and charitable giving, along with extensive financial services experience and securities licenses.

Processes non-contestable insurance claim transactions, including moderately complex cases across multiple products and functions. Verifies information, investigates questionable transactions, researches policy history, resolves escalated customer and agent issues, documents activity, and meets production and quality standards. May train less experienced associates and perform quality checks.

Participates in financial services training, studies for and obtains required FINRA and state insurance licenses, completes product training, shadows Client Consultants, supports client interactions and product recommendations, and provides data entry assistance. The role develops foundational knowledge and skills for advancement into a Client Consultant position.

Processes standard client and producer transactions using documented procedures and multiple applications. Reviews information for completeness, identifies and escalates issues, communicates outstanding requirements to associates, customers, and agents, and documents transaction activity. Maintains departmental production and quality standards in a high-volume environment while learning life and annuity products and managing processing requirements.

Manages service center or processing associates through coaching, performance management, quality monitoring, development, and engagement. Oversees daily work, staffing, productivity, service levels, escalated customer issues, process improvements, and change implementation. Partners with the Command Center on workforce allocation and forecasting while ensuring teams meet quality, productivity, and service standards. Supports transaction processing and customer service as needed.

Supports the actuarial department through research, administrative assistance, data analysis, cross-department communication, and project coordination. The intern works with management and senior actuaries on meaningful projects involving risk measurement, financial performance analysis, behavioral forecasting, and product development. Responsibilities include tracking project progress, meeting deadlines, answering questions, and developing analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Reviews, drafts, edits, and negotiates contracts covering services, sales, distribution, confidentiality, hospitality, events, technology, intellectual property, and other agreements. Advises internal stakeholders on contract interpretation, supports legal and regulatory compliance, coordinates attorney reviews, and assists with procure-to-pay and contract management systems.

Evaluates sales associate interactions across phone, virtual meetings, and email for quality, effectiveness, compliance, and adherence to standards. Analyzes performance data, prepares reports, provides individualized and group coaching, develops training resources, tracks skill progression, facilitates calibration sessions, and maintains interaction libraries. Partners with sales leadership, compliance, and training teams to improve advisor experience and sales effectiveness.

Provides administrative and sales support for external wholesalers, including CRM dashboard and reporting maintenance, correspondence, appointment scheduling, marketing and fulfillment support, mailings, records management, deadline tracking, and documentation review. Collaborates with Compliance, Sales Enablement, CRM, and Marketing teams while responding to internal and external inquiries and improving administrative processes.
