Supports Mercury Marine dealers by responding to phone and email inquiries, processing and tracking orders, maintaining sales records, and communicating product information and procedures. Uses Salesforce.com throughout the sales cycle and collaborates with sales representatives, business development, regional directors, credit, supply chain, and distribution teams. The role requires strong communication, organization, multitasking, problem-solving, and customer service skills while working full-time during the May–August 2027 internship.

Supports design engineering by developing testing documentation for electro-mechanical systems, understanding product interactions, learning applicable regulations, communicating design intent, building prototypes, creating engineering change notices, designing basic 12V marine electrical systems, and installing, testing, and troubleshooting AC/DC circuits and components.

Provide global technical support for marine propulsion integration, participate in new product development and launches, resolve product and installation issues, perform vessel testing/audits, train OEM technicians, and support performance optimization and product improvement projects.

Provide production support at a fiberglass boat manufacturing facility using Gemba and Lean methods. Lead process improvement projects, analyze process and quality data, perform root cause analysis, design/implement production aids and work instructions, and collaborate across production, engineering, and product development to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

The Digital Surface Modeler develops CAD surface models for marine systems, ensuring they meet design, engineering, and manufacturing criteria. Responsibilities include creating conceptual and Class-A surfaces, managing design integrity, and collaborating on multiple CAD projects.

Supports transducer engineering through laboratory work, field testing, forming-process development, prototype production, materials and process analysis, and documentation. The intern learns transducer and acoustic design principles, participates in new product development, and works full time from May through August with possible part-time academic-semester work.

Supports validation activities for marine and related products under test engineers and senior technicians. Responsibilities include troubleshooting basic mechanical and electrical issues, designing and building test fixtures, scheduling and executing tests, operating test equipment, preparing procedures and reports, supporting prototype builds, and maintaining 5S safety and audit processes. The internship is full-time from May through August and requires collaboration across technical teams.

Supports engineering validation and sustaining activities through product testing, detailed reporting, prototype development, test fixture fabrication, equipment troubleshooting, circuit modifications, and on-water validation. Maintains lab and shop equipment, assists production, operates and maintains the boat and vehicle fleet, and supports work-instruction implementation and continuous improvement projects. The internship is full-time from May through August and requires onsite work in Tulsa, including outdoor and confined-space environments.

Supports embedded software development for trolling motors, including concept development, prototyping, testing, performance analysis, bug fixing, and software releases. The intern will work with C/C++, embedded systems, CAN bus, N2K, Bluetooth, and network messaging, while analyzing electronic component datasheets and assisting with hardware prototype bring-up. The role includes on-water product testing, process improvements, and collaboration with senior software engineers.
