Join Barr as a mechanical engineer supporting multidisciplinary projects in power generation, oil & gas, and manufacturing. Develop and review engineering calculations, system specs, and construction drawings; select equipment; support project execution from concept to bid; prepare reports, cost estimates, and client documentation; perform occasional field observation and serve as lead engineer on large projects.

Support detailed electrical design for industrial projects using AutoCAD Electrical and CADD tools. Produce power distribution, controls, and lighting drawings, manipulate data in Excel, coordinate equipment, perform occasional field visits, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams under senior engineer guidance.

Design and implement industrial automation and control systems from requirements and architecture through programming, commissioning, startup, and client training. Develop instrumentation and control documentation, panel designs, estimates, and project deliverables. Support proposals, schedules, budgets, client relationships, and multidisciplinary coordination. Mentor engineers and technicians and potentially serve as a technical project lead across industrial, power, mining, utility, and manufacturing environments.

Design and produce detailed electrical drawings for power distribution, controls, and lighting (600V and below) using AutoCAD Electrical/CADD. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, perform occasional field visits to industrial sites, and support equipment coordination, lighting, and electrical distribution design.
