Manage a team of engineers to improve yield, throughput, and quality; drive process transfer, validation, SPC/DOE/FMEA activities, CAPA, equipment qualification, and NPI. Coordinate cross-functional work with R&D, quality, supply chain, and vendors to enable high-volume photonics production.

Design and specify quantum optical system functionality, build predictive architectural performance models, evaluate implementation feasibility, and collaborate with photonics, systems, and architecture teams to produce data-driven optical system specifications.

Drive development and optimization of silicon photonic semiconductor processes for Photonic Integrated Circuits. Own yield improvement, defect inspection, failure analysis post-dicing, and process transfers to high-volume manufacturing. Interface with foundries, packaging/assembly teams, and vendors. Use data analysis (e.g., JMP), SPC/DOE, and formal problem-solving (FMEA, 8D) to improve stability, reliability, and yield while managing cross-functional projects.
