Responsibilities include negotiating product specifications, defining customer-boundary performance tests, translating customer needs into requirements, supporting engineering priorities and trade-offs, authoring technical content, and representing the company at conferences and standards organizations. The role requires deep datacenter networking expertise, switch and fabric architecture experience, optical networking knowledge, product management experience, and exceptional technical writing skills.

Lead the design, development, and deployment of automation software for precision optical alignment systems and nano-positioning hardware. Develop motion-control algorithms, calibration and measurement routines, hardware integrations, testing frameworks, and closed-loop feedback systems. The Mechanical Design Drafter will develop CAD models, drawings, and documentation for cryogenic systems, ensuring accuracy and manufacturability while participating in system commissioning.

Lead installation, commissioning, and maintenance of large-scale cryostats and associated vacuum, instrumentation, and control systems. Develop commissioning procedures, perform diagnostics, preventative and corrective maintenance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, safety compliance, and documentation in an R&D/production environment.

The intern will develop quantum algorithms, optimize subroutines, compile algorithms, apply architecture-aware optimizations, and estimate quantum resources.

Design and run experiments to characterize integrated photonic circuits, test devices (couplers, interferometers, EO modulators), develop automated control and data acquisition with Python, analyze results, collaborate with designers to troubleshoot and scale testing for large photonic systems, and document findings.
