Manage daily vulnerability management operations, develop and enhance information security policies and standards, track and report remediation from audits, analyze policy exceptions, and coordinate security awareness activities while supporting broader security program initiatives.

Senior-level security engineer responsible for architecting solutions using Rapid7, QRadar, and Symantec DLP. Review existing technical documents, define requirements, design security architectures, interact with clients, and ensure solutions fit network layouts. AWS/Azure cloud experience is a strong plus.

Perform Security Control Assessments and continuous monitoring for State of Michigan applications per NIST standards. Validate system security plans, execute DTMB-170 documentation (POA&M, CAP), test controls per NIST SP 800-53A, ensure policy compliance, author remediation recommendations, lead small assessments, and assist teams/vendors with artifact collection. Position requires onsite availability in Lansing, MI.
