Supports commercial underwriters by processing and rating multi-state new and renewal policies, quotes, audits, endorsements, and customer service requests. Maintains rating manuals, underwriting guidelines, customer records, documentation, and policy paperwork. Reviews applications, issues commercial policies, obtains information from underwriters and assistants, and applies relevant compliance policies and regulations. The role also involves working with brokers, agents, and insureds on complex accounts while managing multiple priorities independently and collaboratively.

Coordinates business workstreams for a core systems transformation program, tracking deliverables, milestones, dependencies, decisions, risks, and readiness activities. Supports governance through agendas, action tracking, status reporting, and leadership updates. Helps identify readiness gaps, develop mitigation plans, and manage transition from implementation to business operations while ensuring accountability across participating departments.

Lead Specialty Underwriting strategy and operations to drive profitable growth, portfolio performance, and underwriting excellence. Support Product and IS teams by gathering and documenting requirements, writing detailed specifications and test cases, executing UAT, generating vendor issue reports, maintaining business data/rates/forms, and coordinating with vendors to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

Independently investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex workers' compensation claims. Determine coverage and reserves, negotiate settlements, manage medical/disability and litigation strategies, coordinate with nurses and vendors, ensure timely payments/denials, and maintain compliance with jurisdictional statutes and client service expectations.

Design, build, and maintain workforce data models and pipelines from HCM/payroll and other systems to produce governed, analytics-ready datasets, dashboards, and automated reporting using Microsoft technologies. Ensure data quality, lineage, security, and collaborate with HR, IT, Finance on integrations, HCM implementations, and analytics expansion.

Support cloud platform and application delivery teams by helping build CI/CD pipelines, implement Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/Terraform/ARM), integrate security scanning and policy enforcement, document runbooks and standards, and assist with cloud provisioning and monitoring.

Support enterprise data and analytics initiatives using Microsoft Fabric: build data pipelines, design lakehouse/warehouse models, develop Power BI reports and semantic models, assist exploratory AI use cases, document data flows, and collaborate with engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.

Create, edit, and proofread internal and external content across channels (intranet, website, marketing, leadership messaging). Translate complex topics for varied audiences, interview SMEs, manage editorial calendars, support change communications, ensure brand and compliance alignment, and repurpose content for campaigns and thought leadership.
