Leads daily operations of a long-term disability claims team, managing staff performance, client relationships, compliance, claim risk, audits, training, metrics, process improvements, and claims initiatives. The role oversees hiring and development, resolves client issues, supports technology and product enhancements, participates in client implementations and prospecting, and ensures adherence to disability regulations, licensing requirements, and service standards.

Lead US Events & Experience strategy, governance, and execution across multiple sites. Provide strategic oversight, people leadership, and vendor/financial stewardship to deliver consistent, scalable onsite, offsite, and hybrid workplace experiences that support culture and business outcomes. Partner with cross‑functional teams to set standards, measure impact, and evolve operating models.

It also contributes to HR projects, reporting, resources, best practices, and process improvements.

Evaluate medical, personal, and financial information for life and critical illness insurance applications. Assess and classify risk using underwriting guidelines, exercise signing authority, refer complex cases, negotiate with reinsurers, communicate decisions to advisors and physicians, document rationale, and support continuous improvement. The role requires strong medical knowledge, judgment, analytical ability, negotiation, confidentiality, and collaboration with internal and external partners.

Provides enterprise leadership for workforce management, customer service analytics, contact center technology, and BPO partnerships. Oversees forecasting, staffing, dashboards, service levels, vendor contracts, invoices, performance management, budgets, technology roadmaps, and operational improvements. Leads managers and cross-functional teams while partnering with IT, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and Customer Service leadership to improve customer outcomes, control costs, and align outsourced operations with business needs.

Manages strategic relationships with large, complex group benefits clients and broker partners. Serves as a trusted advisor, leads business reviews, supports retention and account growth, coordinates cross-functional teams, resolves client issues, and guides implementation, enrollment, and benefits administration. Requires expertise in employee benefits, insurance, consultative relationship management, executive communication, stakeholder influence, and strategic business solutions. Travel is required 50% to 60% of the time.
