Responsibilities include designing and validating electrical systems, controls, embedded systems, and power electronics; creating CAD models, drawings, and bills of materials; developing and executing testing and validation plans; evaluating reliability, safety, cost, and manufacturability; and collaborating with manufacturing, design, and product teams. Travel to other Generac facilities may be required.

Leads manufacturing process improvement and new product introduction initiatives. Supports facility transformation, technology transfer, mixed-model production lines, demand-driven operations, and continuous improvement. Optimizes material, product, and information flows; develops layouts, defines processes, and supports equipment selection and implementation. Collaborates with shop-floor personnel and cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing methods, systems, controls, efficiency, and customer fulfillment.

Coordinates administrative and non-revenue sales activities, supports inside and outside sales teams, processes dealer orders, maintains customer portals, prepares reports and presentations, and provides post-order support. Leads the global internal combustion engine engineering organization, setting technology strategy and directing advanced engine analysis, simulation, testing, controls, benchmarking, emissions, and product development. Builds high-performing teams, establishes modeling workflows and engineering best practices, and uses simulation and data-driven insights to guide technology roadmaps, reliability improvements, cost optimization, and new product introduction. Partners with business, operations, supply chain, finance, and product teams while managing budgets, talent, and organizational performance.

Develop firmware and embedded control systems for new technology prototypes. Design C-based application firmware, communication interfaces, control algorithms, and test specifications; conduct hardware and firmware testing, troubleshoot designs, maintain documentation and repositories, and support auto-code generation. Collaborate with engineering teams on system interfaces and algorithms, use simulation tools, participate in design reviews, and travel occasionally to facilities and customer sites.

Leads HR strategy and operations for regional or functional business groups, managing HR teams and advising leaders on employee relations, talent management, performance, workforce planning, engagement, and organizational effectiveness. Oversees leadership development, compensation cycles, succession planning, labor relations, compliance, HR initiatives, and M&A integration while coaching and developing HR staff.
