Enable and scale partner ecosystems by building technical champions, designing integrations and cloud-native architectures, developing partner assets (reference architectures, demos, playbooks), co-creating joint solutions, and supporting partner-led sales and adoption with up to 50% travel.

Build and operate backend systems and APIs (Go, REST/gRPC) for entitlements, policies, and customer onboarding. Lead cross-team integrations, extend AI features into customer experiences, own features end-to-end, mentor engineers, and drive a product-focused roadmap with iterative delivery.

Own and operationalize Chainguard's commissions function: calculate, validate, and report payouts; design and advise on compensation plans (accelerators, gates, multipliers, mega-deal structures); manage global plan types; mentor a Senior Financial Analyst; and build scalable processes, documentation, controls, and infrastructure to support growth and reduce commission pay rate toward target benchmarks.

Lead Chainguard's vulnerability pipeline: measure, disclose, and report thousands of novel vulnerabilities; run CNA/CVE assignments; coordinate embargoes with customers and maintainers; automate large-scale pipelines; represent Chainguard with standards bodies and AI model vendors to shape disclosure practices.

Lead product marketing for Chainguard Repository, managing launches, GTM strategy, and growth initiatives. Develop positioning, messaging, technical content, and enablement for sales and engineering. Translate malware and maintainer-behavior findings into credible narratives, collaborate across product, security, demand generation, and corporate marketing, and support roadmap and strategy communications.

Own partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline and revenue across assigned VARs and RSIs. Drive joint prospecting, co-selling, partner enablement, recruitment, joint business planning, and regional demand generation. Manage partner opportunities in SFDC, track readiness metrics, and collaborate cross-functionally to accelerate deal velocity, improve attach rates, and ensure forecast accuracy.

Lead technical strategy to scale a multi-ecosystem libraries platform: generalize package indexing, build orchestration, and remediation automation from CVE detection to verified release. Drive agentic/AI-driven patch generation, set platform architecture and SLOs, mentor senior engineers, own incident response, and get hands-on resolving toolchain, compiler, and packaging failures for new ecosystems (.NET, Go, Rust).

Lead architecture and implementation of Chainguard Repository: design, build, and operate high-availability backend services in Go that serve package registries and APIs; improve scalability, reliability, observability, and load testing; drive technical decisions, collaborate across teams, and mentor engineers.

The role involves driving enterprise account strategy, crafting personalized outbound outreach, qualifying opportunities, and collaborating with AEs to build pipeline.
