Design, implement, and test mission-critical C++ and multi-language software for Navy surface and unmanned platforms. Architect and refactor legacy weapons system software into microservices for cloud-native and tactical-edge deployments, integrate components into DoD environments, support test and integration at labs/LBTS, interact with customers, participate in design/code reviews, and prototype AI/ML and distributed processing solutions. Ensure adherence to security, DevSecOps, Agile, and performance requirements.

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Software Factory tooling for tactical and cloud-native deployments. Implement IaC, container orchestration, and DevSecOps automation for air-gapped classified environments, enforce compliance (NIST 800-171, DISA STIGs, RMF), troubleshoot platform issues, collaborate with engineers and customers, and support test/integration activities for Navy surface and unmanned systems.

Design, deploy, and manage secure cloud and hybrid network architectures across classified DoD and on-premise environments. Ensure connectivity between legacy VMs, cloud-native deployments, and Kubernetes clusters, implement cross-domain solutions, and support system modernization for tactical combat systems while meeting strict security and compliance requirements.

Design, modernize, and refactor Navy tactical weapons system software into cloud-native and edge microservices. Develop architectures, implement and test code (C/C++/Python/Java/JavaScript), integrate components, support lab and field integration, prototype AI/ML solutions, elicit requirements, and present technical progress to stakeholders.

Develop, integrate, and test software for complex DoD systems. Gather user requirements, design and implement code (C++/Java), build networked interfaces (TCP/UDP, DDS, Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ), participate in design/code reviews, support lab and field integrations, and follow the SDLC including testing, configuration management, and version control (Git/SVN). Work on-site in Arlington with occasional travel.
