Alaska Communications seeks a Corporate Counsel to provide legal advice on corporate matters, focusing on procurement and commercial contracts while supporting fiber and wireless infrastructure expansion.

Administers and governs telecommunications product catalog systems, including product setup, pricing, packaging, service attributes, and availability rules. Translates business requirements into configurations, tests and deploys catalog changes, resolves data and system issues, and maintains documentation. Provides product performance reporting and analysis to support strategy and operational decisions. Partners with Product Managers, IT, Sales, Support, vendors, and other stakeholders on catalog platform implementation, testing, transformation, and ongoing support.

Leads billing, collections, accounts receivable, payment channels, revenue assurance, cash conversion support, and financial reporting. Manages and develops a union-represented team while overseeing financial systems, SOX controls, audit readiness, compliance, reporting, exception monitoring, and process improvements. Partners cross-functionally to optimize telecommunications billing operations, strengthen controls, improve accuracy and customer experience, and support system transformation.

The Procurement Specialist manages sourcing and contracting for services, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and uses AI tools to enhance procurement processes.

Provide HR administrative support including processing HR transactions, maintaining personnel files and electronic records, responding to employee inquiries, coordinating onboarding and trainings, preparing employment verifications and HR correspondence, tracking documentation and training completion, assisting with employee relations and vendor reporting, and supporting HR projects and office logistics.

Lead and manage the Outside Plant (OSP) Engineering team to plan, design, and document outside plant infrastructure. Oversee route validation, construction drawings, cost estimates, vendor/contractor performance, budgeting, and coordination with internal teams and agencies. Drive process optimization, electronic facilities records, and troubleshoot fiber cuts and OSP service-affecting issues.
