Build and lead Temporal’s technical competitive intelligence program through product evaluations, reproducible benchmarks, win-loss analysis, pricing research, and field intelligence. Translate evidence into positioning, battlecards, comparison guides, demos, technical content, and executive recommendations. Partner with Sales, Solutions Architecture, Product, Engineering, and Enablement to support strategic deals, respond to competitor changes, and drive product and go-to-market decisions. Establish reporting, measurement, governance, and reusable field guidance.

Design, implement, test, and operate features for Temporal’s open-source distributed workflow server. The role focuses on backend systems, task processing, scheduling, persistence, visibility, reliability, performance, observability, and developer experience. The engineer will collaborate across teams, participate in design and code reviews, improve documentation and operational tooling, and contribute to a complex open-source codebase while developing distributed systems expertise.

Lead the architecture, design, implementation, and operation of Temporal’s distributed replication stack. Drive replication protocols for high availability, cross-cluster and cross-region failover, and workload migration. Define consistency, ordering, recovery, and performance guarantees; improve scalability and reliability; debug production issues; influence technical direction across teams; mentor engineers; and contribute to Temporal OSS and cloud infrastructure.

Develop and improve Temporal Proxy, an extensible open-source solution for Temporal Cloud and customers. Implement request handling, configuration, authentication and authorization integrations, encryption hooks, observability, testing, documentation, and production debugging. Collaborate with security, infrastructure, server, and engineering teams to deliver reliable proxy capabilities and improve developer experience.

Serve as the frontline technical expert for Temporal’s developer community. Help customers deploy, scale, troubleshoot, and optimize Temporal in cloud-native environments. Responsibilities include resolving distributed-systems and infrastructure issues, developing observability and automation solutions, improving networking and reliability, and creating infrastructure best practices and diagnostic tools. The role requires direct engagement with developers, engineering teams, and product teams while influencing platform improvements and enhancing developer experience.

Own Temporal Nexus strategy, roadmap, execution, customer discovery, adoption, and cross-functional enablement. Drive delivery of developer experience, operator controls, connector foundations, identity, rate limits, and encryption while shaping future capabilities such as the Connector Ecosystem, Service Hub, and Agentic Communication Fabric. Partner with engineering, customers, field teams, and GTM to prioritize work, define success metrics, launch effectively, and establish Nexus as a durable connectivity layer for distributed systems and AI infrastructure.

Serve as Temporal’s customer-facing technical leader for enterprise accounts in the Central region. Guide prospects and customers through technical evaluations, distributed-system architecture, prototypes, implementation, and production adoption. Partner with Account Executives on new business and expansion opportunities, advise on technical risks, and position Temporal against alternatives. Provide guidance on application design, deployment, security, reliability, performance, and cost management. The role is Dallas-based and requires 25–50% travel.

Serve as the primary customer-facing technical leader for major accounts in the Western U.S. Guide prospects and customers through technical evaluations, distributed-system architecture, prototypes, implementation, and production adoption. Partner with Account Executives on new business and expansion opportunities, develop account plans, assess technical risks, and advise on cloud, security, reliability, performance, and cost considerations. The role requires strong technical communication, architectural expertise, experience with a major cloud provider, and 25–50% travel.

Serves as a customer-facing technical leader, guiding prospects and customers through Temporal evaluations, architecture, implementation, and production adoption. Builds prototypes, advises on distributed systems and cloud architectures, addresses security, reliability, performance, and cost considerations, and supports complex technical sales evaluations. Partners with Account Executives on new business and expansion opportunities, develops account plans, identifies technical risks, and provides strategic architectural guidance.

Leads Temporal’s M&A strategy and builds a strategic seed investment program for companies developing on its platform. Responsibilities include sourcing and executing acquisitions and investments, conducting diligence, negotiating terms, developing financial models and valuations, aligning opportunities with product strategy, managing ecosystem relationships, and establishing governance and scalable processes. The role partners with Product, Engineering, executives, board members, investors, bankers, lawyers, and founders.
