Own and architect TED's back-end systems (Rails/MySQL) to ensure scalable, secure, highly available services. Lead design of web services and APIs, drive CI/CD, testing, observability, and team code quality. Mentor engineers, refactor legacy systems, collaborate with product and stakeholders, and experiment with new technologies and AI-enabled workflows to meet demanding SLAs.

Create high-concept visual design and brand systems across digital and print for TED properties. Execute identities, environmental graphics, editorial artwork, event materials, and production-ready print files. Collaborate, present concepts, incorporate feedback, and support cross-functional teams from concept through vendor handoff.
