The Director, US Rates Strategist will generate trade ideas, conduct macro research, and engage with institutional clients in US rates markets.

The Vice President, US Rates Strategist will generate trade ideas, conduct macro research, and engage with institutional clients in US rates markets, ensuring adherence to policies and maximizing profitability through informed trading decisions.

Serve as final decision authority on commercial loan applications (single-signer up to $2.5M). Perform complex financial and collateral analysis, assess credit risk, set lending conditions, ensure policy and regulatory compliance, mentor underwriting staff, and contribute to credit management initiatives while meeting production and quality metrics.

Provide operational support for US Wealth Management: process transactions, confirm and enter transactions, resolve transaction issues, prepare reports, support CSAs via tracker/phone/email, and perform basic reconciliations under general supervision.

Lead information barrier trade surveillance reviews, analyze alerts for potential MNPI misuse, ensure T+1 timelines, escalate complex cases, coach team members, support calibration of surveillance tools, produce reports for management and regulators, and participate in audits and surveillance projects.

Performs specialized wealth operations tasks including transaction processing, reconciliations, reporting, and client/advisor communication. Uses core wealth systems to confirm and enter transactions, resolve breaks, support trackers/phones/email, and prepare account reports under general supervision.

Provide financial planning guidance and sell investment management solutions to TD Wealth clients. On-board new clients, perform goals-based financial needs analyses, deliver annual reviews, meet sales targets, deepen wallet share, refer to partners, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain licenses and continuing education, and support team development and community engagement.

Lead a cross-functional team setting U.S. GAAP accounting policy and producing legal-entity and segment financial reports. Ensure compliance with the asset cap, liaise with regulators and auditors, provide accounting advisory on complex transactions, drive process improvements, manage governance and training, and build relationships across Finance, Risk, Treasury, Corp Dev and business leaders.

Provide SME-level governance and control advice, implement policies/processes, lead testing and assessments, manage cross-functional control initiatives, mentor others, and support risk identification, reporting and remediation to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
