Leads distributed engineering and quality teams developing cloud-based S3, NAS, and managed Lustre storage services. Designs and executes manual and automated testing for web applications, APIs, and integrated systems. Creates test plans, performs functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing, documents defects, validates fixes, and investigates failures using logs and diagnostics. Collaborates with engineering, product, and support teams on requirements, acceptance criteria, release validation, customer issues, test automation, quality documentation, and continuous improvement.

Lead the technical vision, architecture, and implementation of the Data Ocean platform, building high-performance distributed storage capabilities across object, file, and block storage. Develop production C/C++ systems for caching, namespaces, tiering, replication, metadata, and data mobility. Drive architecture reviews, performance optimization, testing, and operational excellence while mentoring engineers and coordinating technical execution across global Engineering, Product, Architecture, cloud, and DevOps teams.

Lead the design and development of a scalable asynchronous replication engine for an AI data platform. Responsibilities include building multi-threaded replication pipelines, delta synchronization, secure TLS data transfer, integrity validation, failover workflows, REST APIs, metadata tracking, observability, and high-availability systems. The role also provides architectural leadership, mentorship, production troubleshooting, and collaboration with QA, security, backend, and platform teams.

Develop and enhance a high-performance S3-compliant file system using C/C++ and Linux. Responsibilities include technical design, full application development, system-level architecture, file system troubleshooting, research, testing, deployment, production support, technical reviews, and mentoring junior developers. The role also integrates monitoring and alerting capabilities and requires collaboration with global teams.

Perform system bring-up, platform validation, firmware updates, BIOS/BMC/OS configuration, and hardware troubleshooting across storage, compute, and networking infrastructure. Monitor device health, validate drive swaps and rebuilds, investigate performance and stability issues, support Linux diagnostics, and collaborate on complex cross-layer debugging. Document and standardize operational procedures while ensuring system reliability and consistency.

Leads and builds Infinia’s Release Engineering, DevOps, SecDevOps, and SRE functions. Owns release pipelines, CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, security tooling, reliability standards, observability, incident response, capacity planning, and scaling. Establishes SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and operational practices while building globally distributed engineering teams. Partners with product, QA, security, and executive leadership to communicate roadmaps, risks, and technical tradeoffs.

Own complex customer escalations for DDN Infinia, diagnosing distributed-systems, storage, and performance issues through resolution, mitigation, and root-cause analysis. Lead incident response, customer communications, cross-functional investigations, and reliability improvements. Develop troubleshooting guidance, runbooks, and automation; mentor engineers and influence architecture. The role requires deep storage, Linux, coding, observability, and performance-debugging expertise, customer engagement, and participation in an on-call rotation.

Lead EXAScaler product strategy, multi-release roadmaps, PRDs, user stories, and portfolio investment decisions. Partner with engineering on architecture and sequencing, engage senior customers and partners on AI and HPC deployments, and shape competitive positioning, pricing input, and market differentiation. Use product, customer, and financial data to guide product priorities while driving production features from definition through launch and iteration.
