Lead mechanical design of custom automated machinery from concept through commissioning. Create detailed 3D models and assemblies in SolidWorks, design tooling, fixtures, guarding and machine structures, troubleshoot build/debug issues, lead design reviews, collaborate with controls/robotics/electrical teams, interface with customers, and mentor junior engineers.

Short-term contract to program, commission, and troubleshoot ABB robotic systems for material handling. Tasks include RAPID programming, Omnicore controller work, ABB SensoPart vision setup/calibration, gripper integration, path optimization, and onsite production support.

Develop, test, and commission FANUC robot programs using Teach Pendant and KAREL. Integrate robots with PLCs, HMIs, vision, barcode/RFID systems; configure communications; troubleshoot cells during startup and production; document changes and support onsite installations in SC and TX.

Coordinate shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material flow in a manufacturing facility. Verify and inspect incoming shipments, manage LTL and parcel shipments, support quality inspections and RMAs, maintain inventory accuracy, stage materials for production, operate forklifts, and process purchasing/receiving documentation while communicating status with stakeholders.

Manage incoming/outgoing shipments, validate receipts and paperwork, schedule carriers, coordinate material flow with internal teams, handle returns and invoice issues, stage and deliver materials, and support line-side stocking in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.
