ABB Robot Programmer (Contract) – Georgia | Travel Covered | Immediate Start
Location: Georgia (Travel Covered if Not Local)
Job Type: Contract (2–4+ Weeks)
Schedule: 50–60+ Hours per Week (Project Dependent)

- Must be able to travel and work onsite in Georgia for the duration of the project.
We are seeking an experienced ABB Robot Programmer for a short-term automation project in Georgia. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled programmer who can work independently on production support, programming, commissioning, and debugging of ABB robotic systems.
Travel expenses will be covered for qualified candidates who are not local.
Required Experience- Extensive ABB Robot Programming experience
- Strong knowledge of RAPID programming
- Experience with Omnicore (Omicron) controllers
- Experience with ABB SensoPart Vision systems
- Camera setup, calibration, vision software, and troubleshooting
- 2D Vision applications
- Material handling robot programming
- Left-hand and right-hand pick applications
- Gripper integration, setup, and troubleshooting
- Robot commissioning and production support
- Robot path optimization and cycle time improvements
- Troubleshooting robot, vision, and I/O issues
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Automotive automation experience
- Robot commissioning and startup experience
- PLC interface and I/O troubleshooting
- Experience working with conveyors, EOAT, and automation equipment
- Ability to debug complete robotic cells
- Program, modify, and optimize ABB robot applications
- Configure and troubleshoot ABB SensoPart vision systems
- Set up and calibrate cameras for 2D material handling applications
- Program left- and right-hand material handling routines
- Integrate and troubleshoot robotic grippers
- Perform onsite debugging, commissioning, and production support
- Work closely with controls and mechanical teams to resolve automation issues
- Ensure robots meet cycle time and quality requirements
