Perform and oversee laboratory tests: read blueprints and instruments, design and build test setups, develop procedures, record and report data, train and supervise staff, liaise with engineering and plant personnel, and contribute to budget and continuous improvement activities.

Conduct on-site social compliance and human rights audits of supplier facilities, review documentation, prepare and deliver clear English audit reports, communicate findings and corrective actions to management, verify remediation, support supplier development, collaborate with global teams, maintain confidentiality, and participate in training to improve audit quality.

Support product testing and certification by defining project scope, coordinating lab tests, ensuring UL standards compliance, communicating with clients, preparing reports, and resolving engineering and project issues. Coordinate lab technicians, develop test programs, assist in test method development, and represent UL at industry events as needed.

Lead and execute complex laboratory test programs: follow and define test plans, operate/calibrate test equipment, evaluate and report results, manage projects, train staff, communicate with customers and stakeholders, and recommend process improvements. May travel; onsite in Fremont, CA.

Perform safety and non-safety certification inspections, audits, and field evaluations of manufacturers and products against UL requirements. Analyze test results, verify calibration and measurement equipment, document findings, recommend corrective actions, communicate with clients and authorities, and perform regional travel to conduct inspections and support certification processes.

Support product testing and certification by developing test plans, coordinating lab activities, evaluating samples for UL compliance, managing project timelines and client communications, preparing reports, and assisting with test methods and requirements development.

Lead an engineering team for wiring devices supporting global customers: manage capacity, resources, and performance; coordinate cross-functional stakeholders; drive process improvements, compliance, quality, and financial goals; support sales and customer technical issues; delegate and guide test programs; coach and develop staff to foster a high-performance culture.

Manage and execute field engineering evaluation projects with minimal supervision. Develop UL requirements, test methods, and equipment for complex products. Conduct on-site electrical product evaluations, liaise with clients and authorities, resolve compliance issues, and lead code and regulatory projects. Provide technical guidance, represent UL externally, and support continuous improvement.

Execute corporate communications strategy and editorial production; craft messaging and communication plans aligned to the UL brand. Translate technical/scientific content for nontechnical audiences, support measurement and reporting, manage projects and budgets, collaborate across matrix teams, and use Microsoft Office and marketing/communication tools.

Lead and execute end-to-end security assessments for embedded/IoT devices, web and mobile apps, and cloud environments. Identify and exploit vulnerabilities using fuzzing, binary analysis, hardware and physical attack techniques, and deliver actionable reports and remediation guidance. Contribute to test methodology, R&D, staff training, and client collaboration.
