Support AOUSC threat hunting program in a hybrid Washington, DC role. Requires active Public Trust clearance, a BS in CS/IT or related field, 3+ years proactive threat hunting/adversary emulation, experience querying large datasets to identify APT behavior, and scripting proficiency (Python, PowerShell) to develop tools.

Lead 24x7 SOC and MDR operations for a large federal enterprise: manage analysts, SIEM and EDR/XDR monitoring, triage, incident coordination, playbooks, reporting, metrics (MTTD/MTTR), and executive briefings. Coordinate with threat hunting, detection engineering, CTI, and incident response and support staffing, proposals, and transitions.

Lead detection engineering for AOUSC: research, develop, test, deploy, tune, and maintain SIEM detections and RBA framework; coordinate with SOC teams, threat intel, and stakeholders; produce reports and documentation; ensure timely deployment of vulnerability-related detections.

Manage DIA IT projects on-site: plan, execute, and deliver within scope, schedule, and budget; develop plans, track milestones, manage risks, stakeholders, budgets, and contract deliverables; produce status reports and ensure PM compliance.

Manage overall program execution for a DIA IT contract: oversee technical delivery, schedule, budget, quality, risk, stakeholder coordination, and contractor teams while ensuring contract compliance and strategic direction.

Provide technical leadership for AI/ML development under DMA/CIO7 tasks; design, develop, and deploy advanced AI/ML and agentic AI capabilities; ensure compliance with DIA QAF including model validation, bias testing, and performance optimization; coordinate with data scientists, software engineers, and mission stakeholders; recommend emerging AI/ML solutions.

Lead cybersecurity efforts for a DIA program: develop policies and strategies, design secure architectures, perform threat modeling and risk assessments, oversee testing, vulnerability management, and incident response, coordinate with Government teams, and mentor cybersecurity staff.

Lead technical architecture and modernization for a DIA program. Define system architectures, standards, and integration strategies; evaluate and adopt technologies; ensure security and enterprise alignment; lead technical reviews, resolve complex issues, mentor engineers, and present capabilities to government stakeholders.

Serve as primary ISSO for RMF implementation and system accreditation. Develop ATO packages, perform security control assessments, manage continuous monitoring and POA&Ms, coordinate with authorizing officials and auditors, remediate findings, and mentor junior ISSO staff across multiple DoD/IC systems.

Perform hypothesis-driven threat hunts and incident response across cloud and on-prem environments (Azure, O365, AD, Zscaler). Use Splunk ES, Sentinel, EDR (CrowdStrike), Sysmon/Auditd, and network tools to collect, analyze, and document findings. Produce hunt hypotheses, reports, detection logic, SOPs, and weekly updates. Participate in agile scrum, Jira ticketing, on-call IR support, and coordinate with court IT for agent deployment and remediation.
