Manage a multidisciplinary electrical power and electronics team, oversee facility and machine power systems (480V/240V, switchgear, MCCs, UPS, generators), maintain electrical standards and documentation, support equipment integration and commissioning, lead root-cause analysis, manage vendors/contractors, and drive reliability, safety, and energy-efficiency improvements.

Support Commissioning and Start-Up (CSU) activities at DOE Y-12: test planning, execution, equipment validation, turnover coordination, punch-list tracking, and safety compliance. Prepare test records, participate in walkdowns, coordinate with construction, and support shift/overtime work to meet schedule and cost.

Author, revise, and validate technical, administrative, and enterprise procedures for Y-12 activities (dimensional inspection, metrology, material testing, radiography, weld inspection). Ensure compliance with DOE/Y-12 procedure processes (Y15-232/Y15-235), implement hazard controls, coordinate reviews, and verify procedures can be performed as written.

Provide electrical engineering support for construction and utility projects at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory: define scope, develop specifications and cost estimates, review drawings, oversee design firms, and support construction administration and contractor coordination.

Design and develop I&C detailed design including P&IDs, panel wiring, cable designs, PLC and control software specifications, power single-line diagrams, control strategies, and test/qualification procedures while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and writing design documentation.

Lead development of Functional Requirement Documents and Project Requirement Specifications for electrical projects; support electrical elements of building, utility, and equipment projects; create conceptual visualizations and layouts; coordinate with integrated project teams and stakeholders to capture input, review, and finalize requirements.

Provide project controls support for the DOE Y-12 site using Primavera P6: develop and maintain schedules, perform cost analysis and earned value measurement, produce reporting, facilitate team and customer communications, and track project management deliverables.

Support and administer Earned Value Management and project controls: cost estimating and control, schedule development and monitoring, trend identification, supervisory/technical direction for cost and scheduling, administrative support, and development of advanced analytical resolutions to complex problems.

Manage planning, scheduling, cost and risk for DOE projects at Y-12. Develop and integrate schedules, forecasts, EVM reporting, and change control using P6, SAP, and WebEVM. Coordinate stakeholders, ensure compliance with project controls processes, and support Project Managers to keep projects on track and within budget.

Provide senior electrical or civil/structural design engineering support for TA-55 plutonium facilities, preparing complex analyses and design packages, supporting construction and project activities, leading projects, supervising staff, and using CAD and engineering analysis tools.
