Leads cross-dock operations across the United States and Mexico, managing customer performance, third-party logistics providers, vendors, budgets, KPIs, SLAs, and cross-border automotive freight. Oversees WMS and TMS processes, capacity planning, audits, corrective actions, Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, SOP standardization, and cost reduction. Lead recruiting and employee engagement functions for the company, build and execute hiring plans, develop recruiting policies and metrics, manage department operations, run programs (internships, temporary staffing), oversee onboarding and employee rewards, and drive culture, conflict resolution, and results across divisions.

Lead and manage fleet safety programs for flatbed operations: conduct cargo securement and equipment audits, ensure FMCSA/DOT compliance, run driver onboarding and training, investigate accidents and claims, manage roadside inspections and DataQs, and use telematics/ELD and video systems for safety monitoring and coaching.

Answer inbound calls and digital communications to coordinate scheduled and emergency vehicle maintenance between drivers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Create repair orders in Dossier, manage vendor pricing, review repair estimates, ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance, and communicate status to operations, safety, and risk teams.

The Director will lead LTL strategy, manage carrier relations, drive profitability through pricing frameworks, and oversee project implementations in a data-driven logistics environment.
