Leads operational risk management for Freddie Mac’s Single-Family Acquisitions organization, focusing on model and AI risks, controls, governance, reporting, audits, regulatory directives, and risk assessments. Evaluates operational risk events, supports process reviews, escalates noncompliance, improves reporting and automation, and manages staff and cross-functional relationships.

Leads AI and information risk governance for HR and Legal, including AI intake and assessments, privacy inventories and PIAs, records management, audits, regulatory examinations, issue remediation, access recertification, phishing awareness, and information security risk coordination. Advises business leaders, develops governance reporting, supports responsible AI adoption, and strengthens compliance and protection of sensitive employee, legal, and confidential information.

Leads a large software engineering team delivering and modernizing Freddie Mac multifamily applications. Responsibilities include technical architecture, Java/JEE microservices development, code reviews, mentoring, cloud migrations, DevOps automation, container orchestration, application monitoring, support, stakeholder management, project and portfolio delivery, budgeting, recruiting, and performance management.

Leads counterparty risk analytics, portfolio surveillance, governance, and independent risk assessments across mortgage insurers, reinsurers, seller/servicers, banks, and other counterparties. Manages analysts, evaluates financial strength and emerging risks, oversees monitoring frameworks, supports transaction and onboarding decisions, and escalates material concerns to senior leadership.
