Leads a Controls and Automation Engineering team delivering automation systems for drilling and industrial equipment. Oversees architecture, programming, testing, commissioning, deployment, troubleshooting, safety, quality, documentation, and technical support. Sets project priorities, develops engineers, manages cross-functional partnerships, investigates failures, and drives improvements to control-system standards, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Manage and modernize enterprise endpoint environment using SCCM and Intune. Oversee Windows 10/11 lifecycle, implement Autopilot provisioning, maintain GPO/cloud policies, automate with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph, ensure endpoint security and compliance, deploy applications, monitor health, and troubleshoot complex deployment issues while collaborating with security, infrastructure, and helpdesk teams.

Owns the AI product roadmap for drilling technology solutions, identifying customer and operational use cases, building prototypes, and translating validated concepts into scalable requirements. Partners with Engineering, Data Science, Operations, Commercial, Cybersecurity, and customers through discovery, pilots, production release, commercialization, and continuous improvement. Evaluates data and model performance, measures business outcomes, and applies responsible AI, security, privacy, and governance requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

Leads end-to-end software release planning, governance, coordination, deployment, risk management, compliance, and post-release validation across multiple teams and environments. Partners with engineering, QA, DevOps, operations, product, and customer-facing teams to ensure predictable, high-quality releases. Drives release readiness and go/no-go decisions, manages dependencies and escalations, maintains release records, and improves CI/CD automation, deployment reliability, and delivery processes.

Develop and support PLC-based automation software for drilling automation platforms. Translate operational requirements into control logic, troubleshoot complex software and system integration issues, analyze system data, implement corrective solutions, and collaborate with quality, product, engineering, operations, and field teams. Support validation, testing, releases, and sustaining engineering while improving drilling performance, reliability, and operational consistency.

Provides on-site administrative and operational support for an Anchorage drilling office. Responsibilities include front-office services, meeting and travel coordination, purchasing and invoice documentation, employee and HR administration, records management, facilities and IT requests, vendor coordination, reporting, and process improvement. The role requires organization, discretion, accurate recordkeeping, strong communication, and the ability to support changing priorities and remote field operations.
