Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing systems, processes, tooling, equipment layouts, and assembly methods for medical, dental, and animal-health products. Leads process improvement, cost, quality, and delivery initiatives; authors work instructions and technical documentation; supports validation, CAPA, and quality investigations; and collaborates with cross-functional teams and suppliers. Provides technical leadership and mentoring to technicians, co-ops, and junior engineers while ensuring compliance with FDA and ISO requirements.

Collaborates with Finance and cross-functional teams to improve data quality, reporting processes, and business decision-making.

Performs electromechanical verification testing for medical, dental, and animal-health products. Designs and executes manual and automated tests, conducts tensile, compression, destructive, and design-of-experiments testing, analyzes data, documents results, and evaluates failure modes. Develops test fixtures and assemblies using 3D modeling and fabrication tools, establishes test environments, identifies risks, applies Six Sigma methods, improves verification plans, and mentors junior engineers and co-op teammates.

Leads controls engineering for new product development and sustaining projects, overseeing electrical and firmware capabilities, regulatory compliance, technical risk, testing, resources, budgets, and delivery. Manages and develops engineering staff, recruits talent, coordinates third-party engineering support, improves processes and standards, and contributes to product and technology roadmaps. The role supports regulated product development, including medical devices, from concept through launch.

Support project coordinators by creating and maintaining project documentation, managing departmental inboxes, obtaining freight quotes, entering small project orders, providing phone and administrative support, and coordinating deliveries while learning Midmark products and processes.

Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack and firmware software across UI, API, mobile, and cloud/edge platforms. Work in Agile teams, create automated tests and documentation, mentor developers, prototype solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, containerized, cloud/hybrid software.

Lead system architecture definition and guide implementation across teams. Design and document service and data architectures, make technology decisions, develop code, collaborate with product and systems engineering, mentor engineers, and apply DevOps, testing, and security best practices.

Designs, modifies, tests, and troubleshoots electrical systems and production test equipment for medical/dental/animal health products. Implements electromechanical designs, analyzes test results, creates schematics and documentation (V&V, CAPA), maintains product databases, and supports process improvements and automation on the factory floor.
