The AI Engineer will design and develop LLM orchestration frameworks, optimize data pipelines, implement database solutions, and support networked AI tools deployment, contributing to security assessments as needed.

Provide SETA support and technical advisement for design, integration, and sustainment of AI platforms in government environments. Assess cloud/hybrid platform readiness (Azure/AWS), containers, data pipelines, model hosting, identity/security, observability, and scalability. Produce architecture artifacts, briefings, and documentation; evaluate vendors; identify risks and mitigation; coordinate stakeholders; and assist transition from pilot to operational capability while educating teams on AI platform best practices.

Design, develop, integrate, debug, and maintain software applications. Troubleshoot production issues, evaluate and integrate COTS products, perform testing/validation, implement secure SDLC practices, work with containerization (Kubernetes/Docker), and collaborate with customers and distributed teams.

Provide first-level helpdesk and IT support for a government TEN Lab: user setup, account management, ticketing, asset/inventory control, basic systems administration (patching, VPN/VDI support), NetApp SAN/ONTAP operations, Mac/iOS troubleshooting, and development of lab SOPs to maintain business continuity.

Manage lab network infrastructure, implement new technologies, ensure security, provide user support, and troubleshoot technical issues.

Monitor and analyze network activity to detect and respond to threats. Coordinate incident response, collect and analyze intrusion artifacts (PCAP, domains, URIs, certificates), assess network topologies and device configurations, and advise on remediation and best practices. Support real-time CND incident handling and onsite customer interfacing.
