Lead development of space mechanisms from concept through production. Design and analyze mechanisms and structures in CAD and FEA, define and verify requirements, produce technical documentation and reports, manage schedules and milestones, collaborate cross-functionally, mentor engineers, support proposals, and perform occasional supplier/customer travel (~10%).

Develop and verify FPGA firmware for spacecraft avionics from requirements through implementation, verification, and testing. Collaborate across disciplines to define firmware architecture, document interfaces, participate in module-to-system test campaigns, and support on-orbit operation and hardware testing for Xilinx and Microchip FPGA/SoC designs.

Lead spacecraft integration and test campaigns, develop verification/validation and environmental test plans, operate and maintain environmental and GSE test systems, interface with test software and hardware-in-the-loop, investigate anomalies, and produce technical documentation for flight spacecraft systems.

Serve as program authority for advanced RF payloads and communications systems from concept through flight qualification and high-rate production. Lead multiple programs, make architectural trade-offs with engineering, manage suppliers and subcontracts, synchronize cross-functional teams, serve as primary customer contact, and drive proposals and technical roadmaps for national security, civil, and commercial missions. Requires active TS/SCI.
