Owns mechanical technical development from concept through operations, develops interfaces and design documentation, and supports business development, program management, schedules, vendors, and budgets for civil, commercial, and national security missions.

The Senior Supplier Quality Engineer establishes supplier quality systems, audits suppliers, develops control plans and standards, manages non-conformances and CAPA, investigates root causes, and verifies corrective actions. The role tracks supplier performance metrics, applies PFMEA and problem-solving methods, supports production scaling, drives continuous improvement, and coordinates quality requirements among suppliers, engineering, production, customers, and management.

Operate and maintain spacecraft across commissioning, orbit raising, routine operations, and re-entry. Develop and test automated ground software, flight sequences, FDIR and telemetry configurations. Maintain operational code CI and testing, validate spacecraft using simulation and hardware-in-the-loop tools, support integrated spacecraft testing, verify mission requirements, and coordinate technical work across engineering teams.

Design and develop propulsion engine components and systems for Rocket Lab’s Archimedes engine, from concept through production. Responsibilities include creating mechanical design solutions, conducting trade studies and design reviews, applying heat transfer, fluid, structural, FEA, manufacturability, and GD&T principles, and collaborating with analysts, manufacturing engineers, subject matter experts, and fabrication teams to build aerospace hardware.

Provides onsite network engineering and advanced IT support for Rocket Lab’s launch facility. Responsibilities include troubleshooting network infrastructure, deploying routers, switches, and firewalls, maintaining reliable and secure systems, implementing infrastructure standards, automating deployments, documenting environments, and supporting 24/7 launch mission operations through on-call rotations. The role also collaborates with IT, engineering, and business teams on infrastructure upgrades, availability, disaster recovery, and continuous improvement.
