Conducts end-to-end integration testing for a single-molecule protein sequencing platform. Troubleshoots hardware, software, firmware, optics, fluidics, reagents, consumables, and workflow issues through structured root-cause analysis. Develops test plans and protocols, analyzes instrument and sequencing data, supports verification, validation, characterization, and reliability testing, and documents findings. Collaborates with multidisciplinary engineering, R&D, applications, operations, and customer-facing teams to improve system performance, workflow robustness, commercialization readiness, and field support.

Manages public company obligations, contracts, IP portfolio coordination, litigation, outside counsel, legal budgets, compliance programs, strategic transactions, and corporate governance processes.

Leads engineering strategy and high-performing teams developing next-generation protein sequencing instruments and consumables. Oversees mechanical, electrical, optical, fluidics, consumable, software, and systems integration engineering. Guides projects from concept through commercialization and manufacturing transfer while ensuring quality, reliability, regulatory compliance, budget, and schedule performance. Collaborates with R&D, commercial, operations, and vendors, and supports instrument verification, software-hardware integration, and maintenance of deployed instruments.
