Lead cradle-to-grave design, analysis, testing, and integration of flight-critical mechanical systems for hypersonic reentry vehicles. Perform detailed structural and thermal FEA, develop test campaigns (vibration, shock, TVAC, EMI/EMC), create engineering drawings and ICDs, work hands-on with manufacturing and suppliers, and drive subsystem packaging and qualification to support vehicle assembly and launch.

Lead planning and execution of component, subsystem, and system-level mechanical test campaigns for reentry vehicles. Develop test plans, design fixtures and GSE, define instrumentation and data collection, coordinate with external test facilities, troubleshoot during testing, author reports, and drive test learnings into hardware and procedures across cross-functional teams.

Own design and development of primary and secondary reentry vehicle structures from concept through production. Develop load paths, joints, interfaces, and integration with subsystems. Collaborate with analysis, manufacturing, and test teams; generate CAD, drawings, and technical documentation; support prototype and flight builds, testing, and failure investigations; present progress and risks in design reviews.

Lead development of loads, structural dynamics, and multibody dynamics analyses for a reentry vehicle. Define dynamic environments and load cases, build multibody and structural models, drive trade studies, support test planning and instrumentation, correlate simulation to test data, and translate analysis into design requirements across structures, mechanisms, and vehicle architecture throughout development and production.

The Staff Aerothermal CFD Engineer will focus on aerothermodynamic analysis for reentry vehicles, lead high-fidelity simulations, mentor, and develop CFD workflows, specifically targeting hypersonic challenges.

As a GNC Engineer, you will develop and test algorithms for guidance, navigation, and control, focusing on accurate landings of reentry vehicles. You'll work on modeling, simulation, and flight testing.

The Staff Special Projects Engineer will develop advanced hypersonic and reentry vehicle systems, leading design, modeling, and testing in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight.

Lead development and commissioning of automated fiber placement and robotic work cells: design custom EOAT, integrate robots and controls (PLC/HMI), develop robot programs and path planning, collaborate with materials/process engineers, and drive cycle-time, reliability, and process capability toward production.

Develop and maintain aerothermal environment databases across the vehicle flight envelope by running high-enthalpy CFD, applying engineering heating correlations, fusing multi-fidelity data (CFD, test, flight), and delivering validated environment products that drive TPS sizing, structures, and trajectory constraints. Build automation, tooling, and data infrastructure to support database generation and downstream users.

Lead design and implementation of guidance architecture for a maneuvering reentry vehicle. Develop real-time replanning guidance algorithms, build and validate 3-DOF and 6-DOF simulations, and create plant models to support algorithm development. Collaborate with GNC, simulation, and mission teams to achieve vehicle-level performance and mentor junior engineers.
