Lead development and validation of real-time DSP algorithms for communications, telemetry, sensing, and RF applications across flight and ground systems. Design, simulate, and optimize waveform generation, detection, demodulation, tracking, and estimation algorithms. Translate algorithms to FPGA, GPU, and embedded platforms, support integration and testing, and document results. Collaborate with RF, FPGA, software, and systems engineers throughout lifecycle from concept to deployed hardware.

The Test Engineer II will lead and coordinate flight tests for re-entry vehicles, developing test equipment and procedures, ensuring safety and logistics.

Build the People function from scratch: run onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, employee relations and investigations, California and federal contractor compliance, performance management, engagement programs, HRIS (Gusto) administration, headcount reporting, and partner with leadership. Start as an individual contributor and grow into a manager within 12–24 months.

Lead design and development of vacuum chamber and heat exchanger cooling systems for a high-energy hypersonic plasma testbed. Perform transient 3D conjugate heat transfer and thermal/fluid analyses, produce CAD models and drawings, support prototyping and integration, and collaborate with vehicle, manufacturing, test, and vendor teams to deliver test hardware.

Build and own internal web applications and tooling across the stack to support engineering workflows. Design UIs, backend services, APIs, integrations, and AI-enabled workflows. Collaborate with technical stakeholders to define problems, implement solutions, establish best practices, and maintain long-term quality and reliability of internal software.

Define and build internal AI tooling strategy: prototype, deploy, and maintain LLM-powered systems and agents for information retrieval, document analysis, workflow automation, and developer assistance. Drive end-to-end lifecycle, evaluation, observability, and best practices across the company as the first AI-focused engineer on the Internal Software Tools team.

Build and maintain internal full-stack web applications and tooling for engineering workflows. Design frontend interfaces, backend services/APIs, integrations, testing, deployment, and long-term maintenance. Partner with technical stakeholders to define requirements and improve internal tooling, including AI-enabled workflows, while following best practices for code quality and CI/CD.

Design, package, and iterate flight and prototype hardware for hypersonic reentry vehicles. Develop mechanisms (parachute deployment, actuation), support aerial drop test campaigns, qualify designs via environmental testing, perform hands-on integration and fit checks, and collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to move concepts into fabricated, flight-capable hardware.
