Provides high-level administrative and executive support to the CEO and Chief of Staff. Responsibilities include calendar and meeting coordination, board minutes, correspondence, reporting, project management, confidential communications, staff supervision, compliance and accreditation support, financial administration, licensing renewals, and stakeholder liaison duties.

The Controller oversees accounting operations for a nonprofit district office, including financial reporting, balance-sheet reconciliations, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, budgeting, grant support, cost allocations, audits, and financial statements for leadership and the Board. The role establishes financial controls, maintains secure records, prepares special reports, and provides backup support across finance functions while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and quality-improvement requirements.

Writes, submits, monitors, and manages public, government, and private grant proposals and renewals. Researches funding opportunities, prepares supporting documents and sponsorship packages, tracks deadlines, maintains grant records and databases, navigates budgets, and communicates with funders and organizational leaders. Supports fundraising goals while ensuring compliance with grant requirements and contributing to the nonprofit’s mission.
