The Mechanical Engineer II will design and develop automation equipment, perform analyses, create documentation, and lead projects while collaborating cross-functionally.

The role involves designing, developing, and supporting software for complex electro-mechanical systems in semiconductor manufacturing. Responsibilities include full lifecycle development, troubleshooting, and collaboration across teams.

Provide IT and business leadership guidance on IT risk management, perform IT security audits and risk assessments, triage alerts/IOCs, administer Microsoft 365/Azure security and related security platforms, assist cloud migrations and Service Manager administration, document service desk resolution, support end users, and produce metrics and SLA reports to ensure compliance and improve controls.

Translate complex customer requirements into mechatronic and robotic systems. Lead multidisciplinary innovation, conduct analyses, and ensure compliance with standards while mentoring teams.

Lead system-level design and integration of complex robotic and mechatronic platforms. Translate requirements into robust architectures, perform feasibility modeling, manage cross-functional teams, ensure certification compliance, mitigate risk, mentor engineers, protect IP, and drive schedules to meet demonstrations and ship dates.

Design, develop, and maintain Windows-based machine control and automation software (C/C++, C#) for electro-mechanical test handlers. Own architecture, hardware integration, multithreaded/event-driven systems, field troubleshooting, reliability improvements, verification strategies, and mentorship across cross-functional teams.

Design electrical schematics, cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and high-flex cable/e-chain routing using Zuken E3. Produce and maintain electrical documentation, BOMs in Oracle, and ECOs. Support prototype builds, resolve integration issues with cross-functional teams, and participate in design reviews to ensure manufacturable wiring solutions.

Serve as the technical bridge between sales and customers to customize, demo, install, and support complex mechatronic systems. Provide pre/post-sales technical support, analyze client needs, propose solutions using physics and modeling, coordinate with product and engineering teams, and define system requirements. Travel and on-site customer support required.

Lead electrical implementation and integration for semiconductor handler modules across lifecycle. Develop schematics, harnesses, power distribution, EMI mitigation, and safety compliance. Manage wiring engineers, coordinate manufacturing/procurement, drive design reviews, maintain Zuken E3 documentation and BOM synchronization, and support prototype, production, and field sustainment.

Drive regional growth for semiconductor ATE solutions across North America and Europe by identifying new revenue opportunities, enabling early design-ins, managing strategic accounts and partnerships, aligning product roadmaps with market needs, and coordinating cross-functional teams to convert opportunities into long-term customer engagements.
