Leads RentSpree’s Data organization across data engineering, data science, analytics, and strategy. Owns the data and ML roadmap, analytics self-service, experimentation standards, governance, data quality, vendor strategy, and GTM data foundation. Manages analytics leaders and partners with engineering, product, finance, executives, and the Board to drive data-informed strategy. It is based in Monterrey with an on-site Monday–Friday schedule and supports U.S. and Mexico hiring processes.

Diagnose and resolve application performance issues across Java applications, APIs, JVMs, WebSphere, WebLogic, databases, networks, and downstream dependencies. Responsibilities include JVM profiling, garbage collection and dump analysis, distributed tracing, structured logging, APM monitoring, Oracle performance diagnostics, connection pool management, transaction tracing, TLS troubleshooting, and browser-to-backend monitoring. Coordinates Emergent Ventures grant administration, including application reviews, payment processing, reimbursements, budget tracking, reconciliations, databases, and financial reporting. Supports event logistics, stakeholder communications, scheduling, documentation, and grant-processing systems. The role also identifies workflow improvements and automation opportunities while ensuring accurate records, timely approvals, policy compliance, and responsive support for grantees and internal teams.
