Design, model, develop, integrate, and test RF systems including transmitters, receivers, antennas, and radar technologies from HF to W-band. Collaborate across engineering disciplines, document system designs and test procedures, support field experiments, and contribute to proposal and marketing materials. Responsibilities include sensor and FPGA integration, communication protocols, Linux-based services, data pipelines, hardware bring-up, laboratory debugging, testing automation, and rapid prototyping. The role collaborates across software, RF, FPGA, photonics, and systems engineering teams, supports field demonstrations, and documents architectures and test results.

Develops and maintains automated and bench-based methods for characterizing and Mil-Spec screening analog microcircuits. Responsibilities include creating ATE test programs, resolving instrumentation and high-speed measurement issues, interpreting semiconductor specifications, improving test processes, coordinating with equipment suppliers and program managers, advising on test technology, and training test engineers.

Leads development of advanced CMOS and CCD image sensors, including pixel architecture, layout, process integration, simulation, testing, fabrication support, and performance optimization. Collaborates with mixed-signal and digital teams on imaging architectures, supports new product introductions and customer programs, develops funded research opportunities, and contributes to technical proposals and business development. The role is onsite in Princeton, New Jersey, or Rochester, New York, with occasional travel.

Leads photonics research and development projects involving photonic integrated circuits, optical phased arrays, microwave photonics, optical communications, and sensing. Performs system development, laboratory testing, modeling, simulation, calculations, and data analysis. Serves as a principal investigator, leads technical teams and proposal efforts, communicates with clients and senior leadership, and supports transition of research into fieldable prototypes.

Develop and maintain robotics software, scripts, and real-time systems for prototype robotic hardware. Integrate sensors and external devices, develop autonomy, teleoperation, perception, simulation, and control capabilities, and test complex robotic platforms. Support multidisciplinary R&D programs, technical proposals, customer demonstrations, new business efforts, and research projects involving commercial and government applications.
