As a Senior Mission Operations Engineer, you will lead mission operations, develop spacecraft procedures, analyze telemetry, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring the successful execution of space missions.

Support facilities sourcing and procurement for indirect services: manage contracts, obtain bids, create scopes of work, coordinate job walk-downs, assist with RFPs/POs and vendor selection, ensure ITAR/NDA and safety compliance, produce spend reporting, and support facilities managers and buyers.

Lead indirect procurement strategy and execution for facilities, capital equipment, and services. Manage RFI/RFQ/RFPs, negotiate contracts (including AIA agreements), oversee suppliers, track contract compliance and metrics, and coordinate with operations, manufacturing, engineering, and senior leadership to deliver cost-effective solutions.

Lead build reliability for vehicle integration and test, partnering across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to define readiness criteria, drive process maturity, investigate root causes, implement corrective actions, and mentor teams to improve manufacturability, verification, and flight readiness for human-rated space stations.

Lead reliability integration for Haven-1 structures: drive FMEA and fault-tree analysis, define test plans and verification/validation, shepherd design through build and test, create standards and tools, manage change/configuration, and partner across engineering, risk, and manufacturing to ensure human-rated structural reliability.

Manage end-to-end procurement for IT and software subcontractors: define requirements with stakeholders, run RFP/RFQ processes, negotiate contracts, monitor supplier performance, enforce terms, and ensure compliance with company policies and export controls.

Lead systems engineering for human-rated commercial space stations: define and manage requirements, own V&V plans, drive design baseline maturity, coordinate cross-disciplinary decisions, and streamline systems engineering processes to ensure technical readiness and compliance through major design reviews and verification campaigns.

Design and develop vehicle structures from concept through production release for human-rated space stations. Define and manage subsystem interfaces, improve design processes through simplification or automation, and support integration and test activities.

Responsible for end-to-end mission success for crewed space missions, coordinating with customers, managing risks, and leading integration of various mission components.

Coordinate inbound/outbound aerospace shipments, schedule carriers and freight forwarders, prepare shipping/export documentation, ensure regulatory compliance (ITAR/EAR/DOT/IATA), track deliveries, maintain ERP/WMS inventory records, support manufacturing schedules, partner with internal teams, and perform local deliveries using a company vehicle.
