Design, develop, test, deploy, and support production web applications, backend services, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure. The engineer will work with JavaScript/TypeScript, AWS, CI/CD, observability, automated testing, and AI-assisted development tools. Responsibilities include technical design, production troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, code reviews, collaboration with scientific and product teams, mentoring, and improving software quality, reliability, security, and engineering productivity.

Tests web applications through requirements analysis, test case and script development, execution, defect tracking, validation protocols, traceability, and production verification. Collaborates with developers and stakeholders in Agile Scrum ceremonies, supports customer issue reproduction, estimates testing effort, and contributes to design reviews and CSV deliverables. The role requires five years of web application testing experience, with Playwright automation and clinical research experience preferred.

Designs and delivers secure, maintainable systems; establishes testing, CI/CD, and code-review standards; leads incident response; evaluates AI-enabled solutions; mentors developers; and communicates technical risks and tradeoffs to varied stakeholders.
