Design, develop, deploy, and operate scalable ELT pipelines and data architectures for payments data. Integrate diverse data sources, ensure data quality and reliability, optimize pipeline and query performance, and establish data engineering best practices. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, engineers, product managers, and customers while mentoring teams and creating trustworthy reporting and data products.

Design company-wide APIs, architect resilient multi-data-center solutions, manage deployment and monitoring, collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders, investigate platform usage, optimize performance, and mentor junior engineers.

Analyze payments pricing data and interchange and scheme fees for Mastercard and Visa across EMEA. The role optimizes fee structures, supports cost reconciliation, implements fee changes, refines technical pricing models, detects anomalies, and improves pricing and reconciliation tooling. It collaborates with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Partnerships teams to improve transaction cost accuracy, merchant pricing, and fee transparency.

Drive strategic commercial deals that grow or retain revenue among existing global merchants. Lead opportunities through strategy, pitching, negotiation, and closing while expanding share of wallet across channels, regions, business lines, and products. Contribute to cross-functional commercial projects such as product launches and market expansion, partnering with Account Managers and senior stakeholders to deliver long-term growth.

Manage enterprise merchant relationships across APAC, driving growth through share-of-wallet expansion, cross-selling, upselling, and payments guidance. Own merchant success and satisfaction, build executive stakeholder relationships, assess customer needs, coordinate internal projects, and collaborate with global teams. The role requires strong commercial judgment, communication, project management, and the ability to work effectively in ambiguity. Travel is approximately 10%, and the position is office-based in Singapore.

Design, implement, test, and launch scalable financial product features. Contribute hands-on to APIs and tooling, improve platform robustness for high-scale distributed systems, collaborate across cross-functional teams, and iterate quickly to deliver production functionality impacting merchants and shoppers.

Lead a ~10-person analytics and insights function supporting 1,000+ Operations staff. Define KPI frameworks, deliver leadership-ready insights and narratives, improve decision quality, build scalable reporting and operating models, partner with cross-functional teams, and integrate automation and AI to shift focus from reporting mechanics to strategic diagnosis and action.

Build tooling and services to improve resilience, performance, and developer experience of Adyen's database platform. Automate manual tasks, debug complex performance issues across kernel/network/database, enable autonomous database ownership, and participate in on-call rotation to reduce operational toil.

Build and maintain tooling and infrastructure for distributed data stores (Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Redis, ClickHouse). Design partitioning, clustering, and sharding strategies, optimize performance, ensure high availability, troubleshoot production issues, and participate in on-call rotations.
