Owns strategy, staffing, 24/7 coverage, performance management, procedures, control frameworks, documentation, and AI transformation. Partners with Risk, Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams to balance risk, customer experience, scalability, and financial impact across multiple jurisdictions.

Own a portfolio of strategic DACH customers in Berlin, driving retention, gross profit, and expansion across Airwallex products and markets. Lead account planning, executive QBRs, consultative negotiations, Salesforce forecasting, and resolution of operational or compliance issues. Translate customer needs into solutions while coordinating Product, Risk, FinOps, Support, and Sales. Help establish scalable post-sales processes and playbooks.

Leads Airwallex’s global Onboarding and Financial Crime Operations organization across KYC, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, investigations, and periodic reviews. Owns strategy, staffing, operating procedures, performance management, controls, documentation, and continuous improvement across multiple jurisdictions. Partners with Compliance, Risk Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams to balance risk, customer experience, scalability, and cost. Drives AI and automation transformation, manages outsourced capacity, and ensures consistent operational execution across markets.

Perform client due diligence and KYC onboarding reviews to identify money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions, fraud, and other financial crime risks. Apply AML/CTF policies, improve onboarding processes, monitor regulatory developments, support audits, and collaborate with compliance and operations teams across EMEA. The role requires risk-based judgment, accurate documentation, performance tracking, and maintaining a seamless customer experience.

Lead Southeast Asia revenue strategy and operations, including market sizing, go-to-market execution, customer onboarding, process localization, product-market fit, executive analysis, and cross-functional initiatives. Partner with commercial, product, operations, risk, compliance, and regional teams to launch and scale Airwallex's products across SEA markets.
