Drive new business growth for MSCI’s hedge fund index solutions by managing a sales territory, developing target account strategies, conducting prospect discovery, positioning products, and building client relationships. Create data-driven presentations, interpret quantitative and market information, address technical client questions, maintain Salesforce pipeline records, and collaborate with marketing, product, research, legal, compliance, operations, and client service teams to support deal execution and account expansion.

Lead MSCI’s Machine Learning Center of Excellence within Research & Development. Direct PhD-level researchers developing deep learning and reinforcement learning models for systematic strategies, portfolio construction, valuation, and investment insights. Build and mentor the research team, translate AI-extracted signals into products, engage institutional clients, publish thought leadership, and collaborate with product, technology, and sales teams.

Supports client portfolio uploads, reconciliation and quality assurance reporting, data validation, and client inquiries. Assists with developing, testing, and maintaining AI-powered workflow automation using large language models. Analyzes processes to identify efficiency opportunities, validates workflow accuracy and reliability, and creates documentation, process maps, and procedural guides while coordinating multiple priorities.

Drive new business and revenue growth for MSCI Real Assets solutions by prospecting, building sales pipelines, managing complex sales cycles, negotiating contracts, and closing opportunities. Develop relationships with institutional investors, investment managers, asset owners, and other real assets participants. Partner with Product, Research, and Client Coverage teams, maintain Salesforce data and forecasts, attend industry events, and meet revenue and pipeline targets.

Lead the AI research agenda for Private Assets R&D, developing explainable models for pricing, comparables, nowcasting, and cash-flow forecasting. Design agentic AI workflows, automate research tasks, and translate research into scalable client-facing products. Collaborate with research, product, technology, and data engineering teams while representing the group in client engagements and published research.

Drive institutional sales of MSCI index products and solutions across asset owners, asset managers, broker dealers, hedge funds, insurers, and corporate clients in Japan. The role focuses on expanding client coverage, generating new business, achieving revenue and renewal targets, managing relationships, increasing index usage, supporting strategic market development, and collaborating across sales teams to grow customer satisfaction and retention.

Conduct machine learning research integrating financial theory with deep learning and reinforcement learning. Develop models that transform AI-extracted signals from text, documents, and client telemetry into investment insights for systematic strategies, portfolio construction, valuation models, and new financial products. Contribute to research publications and thought leadership while collaborating with product, technology, and sales teams.
