Lead strategic oversight of a Large National Client General Liability program, aligning litigated and non-litigated operations, performance management, analytics, client stewardship, and improvement initiatives. Oversee claims managers and supervisors, translate data into actionable insights, coordinate with stakeholders and executive leadership, and support quality programs. Manage hiring, colleague development, and cross-functional operational coordination. Travel as required.

Manage complex workers' compensation claims from investigation through resolution, including reserve setting, benefit payments, litigation management, subrogation/recoveries, vendor coordination, and client/claimant communication. Negotiate settlements, ensure statutory filings, and use cost-containment strategies to achieve timely, compliant claim outcomes.

Analyze and manage FMLA and other unpaid leave claims, determine eligibility and benefits per client plans and regulations, communicate decisions to claimants/clients, and maintain documentation and quality standards.

Review, investigate, and adjudicate California workers' compensation claims to determine benefits due. Communicate with claimants, clients, and carriers, negotiate settlements within authority, and meet service and reporting requirements.

Analyze leave requests and establish FMLA claims; determine eligibility and paid leave benefits per client plans and laws; calculate and process payments/adjustments; track documentation, communicate decisions to claimants and clients, and maintain professional client relationships.

Support and maintain claims management systems, manage security access and logins, process claim updates and adjustments, queue claims for Managed Care, run reconciliations, gather audit data, provide telephone support, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure policy compliance.

Review and analyze FMLA and paid leave claims to determine eligibility and benefits under client plans and regulations, make calculations and payments, communicate with claimants and clients, and maintain case documentation and service standards.

Perform month-end close, prepare and review general ledger entries and balance sheet reconciliations, research accounting and financial reporting issues, maintain internal controls, assist with audits, and support special projects and cross-departmental communication.

Adjudicate complex California workers' compensation claims, manage high-exposure and litigated files, calculate reserves and benefits, negotiate settlements, coordinate vendors, handle recoveries and statutory filings, and maintain client and claimant communications to achieve timely, cost-effective resolutions.

Collect, analyze, and report data to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Produce management and exception reports, support Business Development by creating/updating opportunities, assist client setup tasks, and generate custom/internal reports to improve quality and decision-making.
