As a Client Partner at The Washington Post, you'll deepen relationships with strategic clients in Tech and B2B, lead sales initiatives, and develop comprehensive account plans to drive revenue through innovative advertising solutions.

Analyze audience behavior and trends to produce actionable insights for the newsroom. Design reports, dashboards, metadata, and data workflows; conduct deep dives on coverage reach and engagement; partner with data and product teams; translate findings into narratives and training for editors, reporters, and newsroom leaders.

Support forecasting, driver-based modeling, cohort LTV/CAC analysis, pricing and promotional evaluation, KPI variance bridges, and financial reporting to guide subscription growth and marketing investment decisions. Partner with Growth and Finance leaders to improve planning workflows and deliver actionable insights for senior stakeholders.

Produce and distribute a twice-weekly press freedom newsletter; create social and short-form video content; research, write, and publish timely features and updates; manage an editorial calendar and cross-platform campaigns; analyze performance data to iterate strategy; coordinate with partners and internal teams to drive awareness and public action on urgent press freedom issues.

Provide high-touch logistical and administrative support to the Acting Publisher & CEO: manage office supplies, meeting and event logistics, travel arrangements, documentation, briefings, and hospitality; maintain databases and shared spaces; handle confidential information with discretion; run errands and support ad-hoc executive needs in a fast-paced newsroom environment.

Manage strategic client relationships and post-sale execution of multi-platform advertising campaigns. Serve as primary client contact, coordinate cross-functional teams, optimize campaign performance with data-driven insights, deliver post-campaign reporting, and identify renewal and upsell opportunities while troubleshooting technical and operational issues.
