The Story Desk Manager leads content creation, story development, and newsroom operations, focusing on impactful journalism and effective team management.

Direct live and recorded newscasts using automation and manual switching; oversee newscast look; troubleshoot technical systems; use non-linear editing and content management systems; collaborate with news, production, and technical teams; perform other production duties as assigned.

Support local broadcast stations by setting up, trafficking, QA-ing, troubleshooting, and optimizing CTV and digital ad campaigns across ad servers and order management systems. Manage creative deployment, track performance, produce reports, meet SLAs, handle shared inboxes, and participate in an on-call rotation. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure campaign accuracy and revenue targets.

Prepare and deliver accurate on-air and online weather forecasts, produce graphics, report from the field, update website and social media, participate in severe weather coverage, fill shifts, perform special projects, and make public appearances.

Support sales team to build, launch, and optimize digital media campaigns across broadcast, digital, and OTT. Prospect and upsell clients, create custom solutions, manage campaign entry and fulfillment, use Matrix/CRM for pipeline and forecasting, and coordinate with account teams for successful delivery.

Lead and produce investigative, longform and breaking-news content for broadcast and streaming. Coach producers, plan editorial strategy, run field production, ensure digital-first storytelling, use analytics, and fill newsroom leadership as needed across shifting schedules.

Responsible for breaking exclusive stories, delivering live coverage, producing and editing content for multiple platforms, and maintaining newsroom integrity.

The Multi-Skilled Journalist will report, write and produce stories, perform live shots, develop sources, and utilize digital tools for content.

Lead category management for indirect spend (Marketing, Legal, Facilities, IT, Telecom), develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships and contracts, drive cost-reduction initiatives, maintain spend databases and sourcing reports, and support cross-functional procurement projects.
