Owns enterprise sales opportunities for Sovos’s AI-native financial orchestration, compliance automation, and intelligent invoicing offerings. The role carries quota, develops C-suite relationships, builds ROI-driven business cases, coordinates with account owners and sales engineers, navigates complex buying groups, and closes large enterprise deals. The director also helps create sales playbooks, shape market positioning, and provide customer feedback to scale the company’s AI sales motion.

Own complex technical sales from discovery through close, leading workshops, demonstrations, proofs of concept, platform configuration, integrations, and business-case development. Partner with account executives, engineering, IT, finance, and executive stakeholders to translate technical solutions into ROI and operational impact. Maintain continuity through implementation kickoff, shape sales processes for AI-native offerings, and use AI tools to accelerate discovery and solution design.

Handles escalated technical support cases for Sovos e-invoicing and tax compliance solutions in customer SAP environments. Diagnoses application defects, integrations, performance issues, and production incidents using ABAP debugging, SAP functional knowledge, interface tracing, XML validation, and root-cause analysis. Determines whether issues involve products or customer configurations, coordinates resolution with internal teams, supports testing and go-lives, documents troubleshooting guidance, identifies recurring issues, and mentors colleagues.

Provide commercial legal support across Latin America, especially Mexico, by drafting and negotiating SaaS agreements, NDAs, DPAs, and partner contracts. Advise sales and business stakeholders on deal structure, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Oversee cross-border transactions, employment law matters, disputes, litigation, company policies, and selected M&A integration activities while collaborating with internal teams and outside counsel.

Generate qualified sales meetings through prospect identification, networking, outreach, and follow-up. Partner with Sales Executives on territory plans, use AI-assisted workflows and Salesforce to manage opportunities, promote Sovos solutions, forecast outreach and revenue goals, and improve sales processes. The role requires strong communication, organization, presentation, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills while engaging business and executive contacts.

Supports the Compliance Services team with data entry, internal application use, confirmation and error tracking, and deadline coordination. Requires strong accuracy, organization, independence, advanced English proficiency, basic computer knowledge, and strong Microsoft Excel skills in a fast-paced environment.

Own European HR operations, including multi-country payroll, French payroll compliance, employee data management, benefits administration, employment-law compliance, onboarding, and offboarding. Maintain accurate, audit-ready processes across jurisdictions, monitor regulatory changes, partner with payroll vendors and Finance, and implement AI-enabled process improvements. The role requires strong French payroll expertise, international HRIS experience, bilingual English and French communication, and exceptional attention to detail.

Supervises Compliance Services Representatives and Associates, ensuring regulatory deadlines, service levels, and client satisfaction. Responsibilities include hiring, training, coaching, performance management, task oversight, client issue resolution, escalations, goal achievement, and process improvement. The role also supports team members, monitors compliance activities, and leads cross-functional initiatives while maintaining organizational policies and legal requirements.

Creates and maintains technical documentation for software users, partners, administrators, and developers. Produces release notes, installation guides, administration guides, developer guides, API references, and use cases. Uses AI tools to research products, identify knowledge gaps, improve content workflows, and enhance documentation. Collaborates with Support, Product, and client-facing teams while maintaining consistent global tone, accessibility, and accuracy across multiple projects.

Leads SAP implementation consulting across EMEA and Turkey, analyzing configurations, documenting designs, testing solutions, supporting UAT and go-live, and resolving technical issues. Manages and mentors SAP consultants, supports multiple concurrent projects, advises clients, and drives continuous improvement. Requires strong SAP SD expertise with FI and MM knowledge, consulting leadership experience, analytical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work with global clients and travel when needed.
