Design and develop Angular frontends and Java/Kotlin Spring Boot backend services for Ericsson’s internal infrastructure platforms. Lead migration from a PHP monolith to Kotlin microservices, make architectural decisions, design APIs and databases, mentor developers, and support Agile and DevSecOps practices. Collaborate with stakeholders and other teams to refine requirements, improve delivery quality, and advance platform modernization. The role also involves troubleshooting, deployments, cloud technologies, CI/CD, security, and operational support.

Design and deliver production-grade generative AI applications, AI agents, enterprise copilots, and intelligent automation for telecom OSS/BSS. Build Python-based AI services using LLMs, RAG, Graph RAG, knowledge graphs, vector databases, and cloud AI platforms. Support finance transformation initiatives by leading a workstream, developing AI solutions for finance teams, analyzing financial and operational data, building business cases, tracking performance metrics, and presenting findings to finance leadership. Prepare concise executive summaries and presentations while collaborating with Finance, Accounting, Commercial, Operations, and transformation teams.

Develop and enhance 5G Radio Access Network User Plane Control software for Ericsson baseband products. Participate in design, implementation, testing, customer feedback, and backlog delivery. Improve scheduling software quality, collaborate with architects on system design, and provide technical leadership. The role requires C/C++ embedded development, analytical problem-solving, teamwork, English communication, and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools. Knowledge of 5G, LTE, and 3GPP standards is advantageous.

Design, develop, optimize, debug, test, and integrate high-performance GPP 5G Layer 2 software for 5G NR platforms. Collaborate with global teams throughout the product lifecycle, contribute to 6G-ready capabilities, and participate in design and code reviews. The role requires expertise in telecom software development, C/C++, embedded systems, 3GPP standards, multithreading, multicore programming, and performance optimization, with desirable knowledge of cloud-native technologies, O-RAN, virtualization, and AI/ML.

Provide customer-facing technical support across Ericsson RAN and transport networks. Troubleshoot faults, resolve service degradations, manage incidents, perform software updates, lead investigations, conduct root-cause analysis, and ensure SLA fulfillment. Support Ericsson GSM, WCDMA, LTE, NR, microwave, IP, optical, and packet transport solutions. The role includes customer escalations, emergency 24/7 on-call support, problem management, operational reviews, and occasional onsite intervention in Ukraine.

Own end-to-end modem firmware architecture for LGA modules, lead modem software stack integration, define baseband, RF, power-management, and system-interface guidelines, and align firmware, hardware, RF, and platform teams. Serve as the technical partner contact, guide complex design and performance decisions, resolve system-level issues, influence modem roadmaps, and provide technical leadership for high-performance 5G platforms.

This role involves designing and developing next-generation radio systems, supporting the full product lifecycle from early studies to verification and field support, focusing on hardware and performance validation.

Lead regulation and standardization activities in Japan, drive partnerships, engage with stakeholders, and influence technology regulations globally to enhance Ericsson's competitiveness.
