The Design Engineering Architect role involves developing PHY architecture, aligning with JEDEC standards, engaging in customer-facing technical support, and collaborating across teams to ensure successful implementation and influence future technology roadmaps.

Designs, verifies, productizes, maintains, and supports system-level memory IP models for hardware-based verification platforms. Develops RTL using Verilog/SystemVerilog across memory technologies and interfaces, executes simulation and emulation verification, debugs complex hardware and protocol issues, documents products, supports customers, manages technical deliverables, and collaborates across engineering teams to improve product quality and lifecycle processes.

Develops cloud product roadmaps, business models, and sales pipelines while collaborating with sales, IT, R&D, and ecosystem partners. The intern will work with industry cases, collaborate with engineering teams to define and validate AI-driven design flows, and use the Model In Minutes flow integrated into Virtuoso to build and validate Real Number Models for mixed-signal SoC verification.

Serves as the primary technical liaison for customer engineering teams, managing support cases, triaging issues, coordinating escalations, and leading technical reviews. Performs high-speed interface validation, post-silicon PHY bring-up, interoperability and compliance testing, silicon debugging, and lab analysis using oscilloscopes, BERTs, and protocol analyzers. Maintains documentation and dashboards, collaborates cross-functionally, supports customer integration, and travels onsite approximately 10% of the time.
