Provides proactive, confidential administrative support to the U.S. COO and Legal teams. Responsibilities include complex calendar management, meeting and event coordination, domestic and international travel planning, expense processing through Concur, document and presentation preparation, information flow, vendor coordination, confidential communications, and process improvement. The role requires strong organization, communication, discretion, executive presence, and the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced professional environment.

Oversee accounting and finance responsibilities for private investment portfolios, including real estate and commercial mortgage loans. Maintain general and sub-ledgers, prepare trial balances and financial statements, manage quarterly close processes, and oversee capital calls and distributions. Coordinate with third-party providers, investment teams, valuation teams, and senior management. Implement fund structures in accounting systems, produce client reports and performance metrics, and ensure timely, accurate deliverables.

Oversee accounting and finance activities for private real estate investments, including partnership waterfalls, general and sub-ledgers, trial balances, quarterly closes, capital calls, distributions, and client reporting. Manage deliverable quality and workflow, produce financial performance metrics, collaborate with investment and portfolio teams, and communicate with senior management and internal stakeholders. The role also includes managing associates and preparing ad hoc reports.

Provides legal advice on establishing, structuring, launching, and operating European investment funds and investor separate accounts. Drafts and negotiates fund documentation, manages external counsel, supports investor discussions, advises on regulatory and risk matters, and assists with distribution and marketing queries. Collaborates with Legal, Product Management, Investment Teams, and other business functions while improving team processes and handling complex legal issues.

Leads complex compensation programs, market pricing, benchmarking, annual compensation cycles, pay equity, job evaluation, and pay structure development. Partners with HR, Finance, Legal, Talent, and business leaders to provide compensation guidance and recommendations. Develops models, reports, and dashboards; maintains compensation data in Workday; improves governance, processes, tools, and controls; and monitors compliance with policies, regulations, and market standards.

Conduct trading-practices surveillance and compliance monitoring across best execution, cross trades, fair allocation, market abuse, insider trading, MNPI, wall-crossing, and trade errors. Identify and escalate risks, maintain policies, support regulatory projects, prepare governance reporting, deliver training, resolve compliance issues, and advise stakeholders on evolving regulations. The role collaborates with portfolio management, trading, legal, risk, operations, IT, and front-office teams.

Administers and oversees corporate actions and income processes for investment portfolios. Analyzes issuer and custodian documentation, determines operational treatment, resolves exceptions and breaks, manages restructuring events, and supports private ratings activities. The role develops process improvements and controls, maintains procedures, coordinates with custodians and cross-functional stakeholders, and provides recommendations on operational issues while working independently within established policies.

Leads the build-out and growth of Barings’ infrastructure equity strategy across North America and Europe. Responsibilities include sourcing, structuring, negotiating, and executing investments; developing investment theses; leading diligence, valuation, and portfolio construction; overseeing value creation and KPIs; participating in Investment Committee activities; supporting fundraising; and mentoring future team members.

Support underwriting, execution, and portfolio management of private credit investments for private equity-sponsored transactions. Perform financial and covenant analysis, build operating and LBO models, prepare investment memos, present recommendations, and monitor borrower performance and portfolio risk.

Support federal and state income tax compliance with focus on Form 1065 and partnership structures. Maintain partner capital accounts and basis, prepare tax estimates and distributions, perform ASC 740 reporting, reconcile K-1s, handle tax notices, FATCA/CRS reporting, and state filings. Partner with auditors and internal teams and identify opportunities to automate and streamline tax processes using AI-enabled tools.
