Own the reliability, availability, performance, and evolution of eBay’s internal engineering platform. Lead incident response, on-call operations, debugging, and root-cause analysis while building observability, CI/CD, and platform automation. Design AI-driven workflows with guardrails, validation, rollback, and safety mechanisms for automated production changes. Establish SLOs, improve resilience, remediate vulnerabilities, and partner with engineering teams on operability, standardization, and self-healing systems.

Design, develop, and maintain high-scale traffic management and networking platforms using C++, Go, Kubernetes, and related technologies. Optimize protocols, caching, Points of Presence, performance, resilience, security, and scalability. Implement observability capabilities, collaborate across engineering teams, resolve complex networking issues, contribute to open-source projects, and lead smaller technical initiatives.

Leads the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance network traffic solutions. Design, build, and maintain an integrated data development platform supporting notebooks, SQL editors, data exploration, and compute workflows. Develop backend services and APIs for workspace and resource lifecycle management, integrate with Spark, Hadoop, Flink, and cloud infrastructure, and improve reliability, scalability, security, performance, and developer experience. Partner with data engineers, analysts, and data scientists to deliver self-service data capabilities.
