Leads technical direction for Trade Finance software solutions, covering architecture, application development, integrations, data platforms, cloud infrastructure, security, AI, and modernization. Translates business requirements into technical designs, establishes engineering standards, guides delivery teams, oversees software quality and production support, evaluates technologies and vendors, and manages technical risks. Requires strong commercial banking and Trade Finance expertise, hands-on engineering judgment, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct people-management responsibility.

Investigate and disposition complex sanctions matters (transactions, trade finance, customer screening, lending). Apply sanctions regulations and MUFG policies, perform research using regulatory guidance and intelligence tools, produce defensible written analyses, advise regional teams, support governance and reporting, and drive improvements in screening and escalation processes.

Develop and support enterprise Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, FSC, Experience Cloud, Agentforce, and DealCloud. Lead architecture, integrations, data modeling, performance optimization, POCs, code reviews, mentoring, Agile delivery, CI/CD, testing, and deployment automation. Coordinate vendor applications and a defined application portfolio, including onboarding, incidents, maintenance, releases, enhancements, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.

Supports leveraged capital markets and debt origination transactions from initial analysis through pricing, syndication, distribution, and execution. Responsibilities include assessing market liquidity, determining pricing, preparing underwriting applications, screening memos, comparable analyses, market research, client presentations, and pitch books. The role collaborates with senior bankers, distribution teams, financial sponsors, investors, and internal stakeholders while maintaining pricing databases and pipeline reports and developing financing solutions for clients.

Supports quality assurance and data integrity for financial reporting across complex asset portfolios. Responsibilities include asset evaluations, VIE assessments, provision notices, reconciliations, exposure reporting, borrower-rating monitoring, system updates, discrepancy investigations, documentation, and regulatory reporting. The role coordinates across front office, finance, and back-office teams, manages deadlines, supports QA checks, and guides junior colleagues.
