QualificationsEducation
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
  • Academic background in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline is advantageous.
Certifications
  • Relevant professional certifications may be considered an asset, where applicable.
Experience
  • Prior exposure to a corporate, financial services, or business environment preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of banking operations, deposit products, and regulatory requirements is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

The Commercial Account Operations Administrator supports the efficient and compliant execution of account operations by:

  • Assisting with client onboarding activities, including account opening, maintenance, conversion, and closure processes in accordance with legal, regulatory, compliance, and internal policy requirements.
  • Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of account-related transactions, requests, and data updates.
  • Monitoring and validating incoming and outgoing data to maintain operational accuracy and data integrity.
  • Identifying, escalating, and supporting the resolution of data quality, processing, or operational issues.
  • Preparing operational reports, regulatory submissions, and supporting documentation as required.
  • Contributing to operational excellence through adherence to established procedures, risk controls, and service standards.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of client and business requirements.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance.
