Maintain integrity, security, availability of Oracle, SQL Server, and SYBASE databases; perform tuning, monitoring, disaster recovery, and index maintenance; implement security policies; support Oracle-to-AWS RDS migrations; optimize schema, storage, and query performance; install and administer database systems and tools for national security programs.

Design, implement, and sustain highly available data center and enterprise networks (spine-leaf, virtualized, fabric). Configure Cisco ACI/Nexus/Catalyst, routers, firewalls, and load balancers. Monitor networks with ServiceNow, SolarWinds, NetBox, PRTG; lead troubleshooting, incident resolution, contingency planning, modernization efforts, and mentor staff. Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage SLAs, and provide leadership reporting. Maintain on-call support and oversee hiring/performance management.

Lead cybersecurity engineering for mission systems: design, implement, and maintain security controls and tools (SIEM, EDR, firewalls); support incident response, RMF/ATO activities, vulnerability management, audits, and DevSecOps integration to ensure compliance and secure configurations.

The Firewall Engineer will develop and implement security solutions, provide Tier 3 support, assess firewalls, and interact with clients for network security improvements.
